The Gites

Each of the gites has its own outside area so that you can enjoy the fresh air or have a barbecue undisturbed. We also offer a communal play area with a climbing frame, sandpit and bikes for the children. In addition, there is an enclosed and alarmed outdoor swimming pool with plenty of sunloungers and space for small children to play in the dappled shade of the trees.

The gites are never both rented out at the same time so you will only ever share the facilities
with the owners.

La Ferme

This is our recently renovated 3 bedroom traditional farmhouse. It is full of French character, with large fireplaces and sandstone floors, yet has all the modern comforts you would expect in a well-equipped home.

On the ground floor there is a large open plan dining/kitchen area complete with high chairs, booster seats, steriliser, microwave and dishwasher. This space is also home to a large Charentaise fireplace with log burner and comfy sofa.

The large separate sitting room (with Freesat TV/DVD plus a DVD library) has a traditional Charentaise fireplace with log burner. This room also has a double sofabed, so can easily be converted into an additional bedroom if required.

Finally, there is the downstairs family bathroom complete with baby bath, bath toys and non slip mat. There is also a washing machine and airer.

For your peace of mind, there are removable stairgates at the top and bottom of the stairs.

On the first floor are three bedrooms off a large landing/play area.

On the landing you will find a large selection of toys and games for all ages children and adults alike, no worries about keeping those small people entertained.

Bedroom 1 (ensuite) has a double bed and lovely views over the farmland and garden.

Bedroom 2 has traditional exposed stonework and beams. It can be set up as a double, twin or triple.

Bedroom 3 is a spacious bedroom, and can be set up as either a twin or a double.

All the bedrooms are large enough to accommodate one of the two cots available and have shutters to avoid the early morning light and midday heat.

WiFi available, just bring your laptop.

La Petite Maison

This is a quaint 1 bedroom cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway or for a couple with one
child.

On the ground floor there is a good-size living area with well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating beside the traditional Charentaise bread oven, now home to a woodburner.

Upstairs is a spacious, comfortable double bedroom with exposed beams and stonework, and a large picture window with views overlooking farm and woodland. There is also plenty of room for a cot or small bed if required.

The ensuite showeroom is newly equipped.

Outside is a private garden area and small patio, with table, chairs and barbecue.
